CANCELLATIONS:

You can cancel your order as long as items haven't been dispatched.

Customised items and gift-cards cannot be cancelled or refunded. 

RETURNS/REFUNDS:

YOU HAVE 14 DAYS (from the date of receiving your order) TO REQUEST A REFUND AND SEND THE ITEM(S) BACK IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING, UNUSED & UNWASHED. Refunds will not be accepted for items that don't comply with this.

TO REQUEST A REFUND, CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU SEND THE ITEM BACK at nora@theblackwardrobe.com. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

ALL RETURNS MUST BE SENT BACK TO ME. I'm based in the United kingdom. If returns are not sent to me, additional charges may apply or your refund may be denied.

CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF RETURN-SHIPPING (I highly recommend you use recorded delivery and obtain proof of postage. I cannot be held responsible for items lost, delayed or damaged when being returned).

REFUNDS/REPLACEMENTS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR MISSING PARCELS DUE TO SHIPPING-ADDRESS BEING OUTDATED, WRONG OR WITH MISSING INFORMATION. Please check you provided the correct, full address when you placed the order.

ALL MY ITEMS CAN BE EXCHANGED or RETURNED EXCEPT:

  • CUSTOMISED ITEMS
  • DISCOUNTED ITEMS
  • EARRINGS (due to hygienical reasons).
  • GIFT-CARDS.
  • ITEMS BOUGHT WITH GIFT-CARD.

If an item cannot be returned, this information will be provided on product page, within the product description box.

Purchases paid with gift-card are NOT entitled to cash refund. Instead of a refund, the buyer can only exchange the item for something else.

MONIES WILL BE REFUNDED BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS I RECEIVE ITEM(S) BACK AND CONFIRM THAT ITEM(S) MEET(S) THE RETURN ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA.

YOU WILL BE REFUNDED ON YOUR ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD. Please be aware that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the transaction.

EXCHANGES:

PLEASE NOTE, THERE'S A £3.50 SHIPPING-CHARGE TO SEND THE NEW ITEM TO YOU (UK orders). 

International orders are subject to this too. Get in touch for additional details.

Additional details for international orders:

CUSTOMS/IMPORT TAXES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. 

If sending items back from outside the UK, make sure to declare items as "returned goods" on customs-forms. Any duties/taxes on returned goods will remain the responsibility of the customer.

Please note, Royal Mail handles all my international parcels until they leave the UK. Once your order parcel arrives to your country, it gets handled by your local/national courier. Other couriers may be used for my clothing items.

USA orders are usually handled by RoyalMail + USPS.

(USA BUYERS): If you didn't select shipping "WITH SIGNATURE" and you live in an area prone to parcel-theft, I will not be able to offer a refund/replacement for missing parcels if they've been confirmed on tracking as "delivered".
