The Black Wardrobe was launched in Autumn/Winter 2008/09 with its debut collection "The Black Widow". Since then, BW has launched its website and is now stocked in Rose&Anchor Boutique, in Liverpool.

Its designer and creator, Nora BenHayyi, is a spanish designer who is a Gothic enthusiast herself who has worked designing each collection from concept to final garment, her immense attention to detail plus unstopping imaginative mind help to create this truly inspiring label.

BW wants to set the pace for glamourous fashion in black, hence the name. The intention was to create a vintage inspired brand that was practical, flexible, unique, sophisticated and most of all, affordable. An alternative to all those enthusiasts for the nostalgic fashions and the gloomy drama of Gothic, who want a more mature and urban look while preserving its dark character.

BW is essentially a label that has many influences from 1900's to 1940's Glamour, always drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of Gothic while giving it a disctinctive and contemporary touch. The BW clothing is obtained by means of daring combinations, precious materials, purity of design
and meticulous attention to detail.
